We want everyone to be able to use unicadesignsolutions.com, including people with visual, auditory, motor or cognitive impairments.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Contrast. Text colours have been checked against WCAG AA contrast requirements.
Images. Meaningful images have descriptive text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Keyboard navigation. All links and controls can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. A "skip to content" link is available at the top of each page.
Navigation menu. The mobile menu is built on an accessible dialog component that manages focus and can be closed with the Escape key.
Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, all scroll animations and moving effects on the Website are disabled.
Structure. Pages use a logical heading structure and semantic markup, so they can be navigated with assistive technologies.
External links. Links that open in a new tab announce this to screen reader users.
No time limits. Nothing on the Website expires or requires a timed response.

The Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. We are aware of the following:

On very narrow mobile screens, the small arrow that marks the current page in the navigation menu has slightly lower contrast than recommended. The current page is also identified to assistive technologies, so this does not affect screen reader users.
Some photographs contain design details, such as materials and finishes, that cannot be fully conveyed through a short text alternative. If you need a more detailed description of any project or product, please write to us.
